-The connections we make on this site are amazing, especially when some of them become friends, even though we won't ever see them unless they live close by.
-I knew of Karyn's writing, but I didn't know a lot personally. I joined in 2015, and it took a while to get used to the site, reviewing, and learning forms, plus building up money to post.
-You were very lucky to have this special relationship.
-We have followed "American Idol" in our family, as well. Do you remember the name of the girl you worked with who made the top 15?

OMG, when did Karyn die? I am so glad I opened this. She and I used to compete in Japanese Short Forms, and and other writings. I am so sad she's gone. She had some really tough years in the end. John, I've been here for a long time. However, when I was going through my cancer I was MIA for a couple of years. When I returned, I was just doing reviews--enjoying the writing of others. I still don't write that much, but at least I'm back.
What's for dinner tomorrow?
We're having the remainder of the corned beef. I steam it on a reheat, so it will be an easy day. M

I hope the cancer is way back in the rearview mirror!
We are actually doing our corned beef, cabbage & potatoes tomorrow.
I?ve been thinking of doing some writing, calling it ?Cooking with Giovani?, doing some recipes mixed with a bit of stories. Just an idea.
Sound corny or does it have some merit? I value your opinion.
