Thank you for sharing this tribute to the women of FanStory. I truly hope you included yourself in this tribute, because you are one of the shining stars here on FanStory. I enjoyed reading and so no way to improve this poem.

Thanks so much for your lovely review, as always! I count you as one of the loveliest of these ladies and appreciate your sweet words. My poem does have one flaw, and that is when you do a perfect rhyme, on near rhyme sticks out like a sore thumb. However to talk of my faith was the most important part.
So I will either reword that line or put that thumb in the author's notes for all to see! hehehehehehe! Thanks again my dear friend!

Debi,

I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing that the women outnumber us men on this site. So to pay a tribute to all of them (including you) is an honor!

No longer are they to be called a hen,
Not because they out number us men.
The talent is there
For men to beware
They're much more knowledgeable with the pen

Have a great day...
John

I wish I had another 6! Beautiful, as always! Phenomenal mono-rhyme, with that flawless Debi flow. The rhythm amplifies your amazing words. Guess what.... I love it! (lol) another one well done!

Well, for the first time since I've known you, I will have to disagree! Lol and I don't like it! But I think that you are poem is, indeed, flawless. Because your faith is significantly worthy of standing out! It's your identity and does not need to follow suit. I actually really like that it is a near rhyme! it still reads well it flows nicely and it's just different enough to stand out kind of like your faith, you know?

-Nice artwork and presentation, Debi.
-I like your tribute to the women of FS.
-You do a good job with examples of
the qualities you appreciate, like
good news in health updates or
pride in their children, grandchildren, etc.
-I think we do a good job of accommodating
others, as well, and I like your concluding
verse with "FanStory Estate."
-Well done and appreciated.

You are very welcome, Debi, and you are one of the loveliest ladies, too. I didn't notice a near rhyme.

'Thanks Pam. The word was faith, but I changed it now.

Debi, this is a wonderful tribute to the ladies of FanStory. I do know there are more women on FanStory than men. A recent poem posted by Tom H. said For Men Only. The first five or six reviews were all from women...LOL. They are a great group! Good work. Terry.

Awwww! What a sweet tribute to the creative "ladies who write" here in FanStory. Your mono rhymed poem does give us cause to stop and celebrate.

Very nice Debi and Happy St Patrick's Day too.

Blessings and smiles

I understand Debi. I have a poem I?m ready to post but the meter is off in the last stanza. But I?m taking poetic license here and making the word flower one syllable. Haha. I?m sure someone will point it out. 😀

That was quite a job of Rhyming, Debi.

Now after reading your nice poem, there's really no debate.
When it comes down to rhyming words, you really are first rate.

Debi,

This is a wonderful tribute to all the talented and creative writers and poets who post on Fanstory. You have composed a brilliantly written monorhyme with exception of the 3rd line of the 3rd stanza

You may want to revise the following "There's nothing I love more, than a great chance to share my faith."

All the best,

Eugene

Lol, I hear you Eugene, when all your other rhymes are perfect, sometimes one near rhyme will stick out like a sore thumb. Haha! I but it was either that or share my fate. Ouch. Not sure I want to do that. So as I ponder this awesome review and comments, I will ponder what to do with that important point that I almost got by with sneaking it in. (Big Smile)
