You said it right there and indeed life can be one big hustle but not all of the time. Excellent work! No mistakes found in your poetry. It is impressive and unique. Thank you for sharing!

This poem, What a Day, reminds the readers that some days are diamonds and some are stones. When we get a lot of stones in a row, a jewel is just around the corner.

I love how you have taken this photo and used it as inspiration for a humurous poem. I have seen the photo used before and others have taken it quite literally to write about eggs.

I enjoyed your poem. Have a great day.

Sounds like a typical Monday. I've never had to put cardboard in the sole of my shoe, but have known friends who have had to resort to that. The coffee spill is no biggie. This poem ran the gamut of emotions. Very fun to read. Gretchen

Well, this light-hearted poem made me smile as soon as I read the first two lines, having never thought of how many faces we make in a day. I probably make hundreds. My ugliest face is when the computer isn't working. I enjoyed your "picture this" contribution, and it has me thinking and smiling.

This is a nice light heart poem and we should smile more, if for no other reason than being alive.

notes:

My, oh my! How many faces
does one need to make in a day?
The car will not start, why not frown

I suggest rethinking the formation for these first three lines. They do not fit with the rhyming couplets form of the remaining poem. Suggest adding that rhyme scheme to them and since it is an odd number, write one more line.

Unless this is the form the club challenge wants. Then all is good.

Haha, what a fun interpretation, JLR. I enjoyed reading
your club response. Your poem had great examples which
matched some of the expressions of those eggs. Your rhymes
worked well, and the message was strong. Yes, life is a big
bustle, so smile a muddle through it.
Thanks for participating, Jan

It was fun to read and I could see Me frowning and the displaying other character expressions
Well done

This is representative of days, too many to be remembered, yet never forgotten. I love your humor here. Your contrasting couplets are cleverly designed and carefully rhymed.

Fun poem for this picture! And yes, we can experience all kinds of emotions accompanied by any of these funny expressions during the course of a day!
