Now I'm really wishing I could see that picture. So the puppy manipulated the little boy into thinking he was hurt to get extra love and attention? But a puppy is easily forgivable but a career politician, not so much. Thanks for sharing the fun story poem.

Sorry, I can no longer find it. I have two excuses, one, I'm old and I forget most things, and two, I'm now older, male and I forget what I was talking about. Seriously, it was a smallish boy with his puppy sitting at his feet looking at the boy with love in his eyes.

I like this poetical rant about the evils that lurk within the politicians, and no one should trust that politicians will keep their word and serve the public rather than the special interests

Another cynic. Fancy thinking our elected officials would ever be anything less than men, or women of the highest character. Thank you so much for stopping by and reviewing my nonsense. I really appreciate and agree with your comments.

I'm with you Bob. I don't believe any Politicians. I was really into the little boy and the puppy he'd found until I realised where you were going. A good twist in the tail, LOL.
Cheers

Well a REAL puppy may act like what you described. However,
there re always those that take advantage of the situation,
like politicians, for their own good. But, that may backfire. I
enjoyed reading your poem, Bob. You expressed your thoughts
and feelings well. Your words were descriptive.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Thank you, Jan. Another fine review. Your comments make this old scribbler start to think one day he just might make a poet. Thank you again.

I would like to see the photo Bob. I don't think politicians are created as crooks, they still live among us, not from a seperate country! And they are not from a variety of people subject to a different set of standards, but are in a difficult culture, not the same as ours. Beautifully written post, blessings Roy
Typo : For revealing all he (knowed) knew?

Suggestion : painting lines on cue.

Knowed was used deliberately as it rhymed with rode, at least in my mind. The picture can be found on a poem called Busted by John Cranford. I've got to wait until my Grandson is around so I can get him to show me how to transfer the photo to my poem. Thanks for the review, Roy.

Knowed is not a word Bob, if it was it would be present, you were dealing with past tense, so it was wrong twice, I made a suggestion in cue. I?m only doing my job?Bob.

I'll still claim the right of poetic licence. That's as close as I can come to admitting a mistake. If you want to see the photo, you can go to a poem written by John Cranford called Busted. I just wasn't smart enough to transfer it to my poem.

Of course you can, I meant only good, not censure Bob, I try to be a good guy if I can, in the end it?s your poem, you?re good at writing.

There is no photograph attached here Bob, but I didn't need one as your poem said it all. You can't trust politicians and dogs are very intuitive and know much more than we give them credit for, love Dolly x

I'm expecting to see that picture when you find it, Bob.
A nice little narrative told in verse, written with the cynicism of experience. Well done.

Great words - shame about the photograph. All true true that growing old is not all it's cracked up to be. I particularly liked your plays on words:
Now there is a moral to this tail,
there is indeed. kay

Hmmm. Line one confuses me. What picture? Maybe "a" picture would be better suited.
As for the moral, bam. You knocked it out of the park, or made a field goal from seventy five yards, or ace the 17th green at TPC Sawgrass. Well done.

I'd rather the hole-in-one. It would add to the two I've already scored. Both incidentally on the same hole. I had a picture which I subsequently lost. Haven't scored a field goal though. Thank you for the review.

A Puppy politician? or a puppy outsmarting a politician which would not be hard, though it sounds like this politician may have done some harm to this puppy? very intriguing and well written****kahpot

Thank you Kahpot. Your reviews are always so complimentary. Where in Australia are you and how long have you been writing on fanstory. Back to the review, I think I prefer weiting about puppies than writing about people. Thanks again for the review
