When angels ride the skies like eagles, they seek the truth, Sally. :) Fee flies the coupe looking to kill and blame his son. What a dad. I am happy the angels got there on time. The blind detective comes in the next chapter to help Tommy, Sally? About time to cook some evil demons in their own fire. Thank you for sharing.

So ... Fee's plot was foiled at the last moment by the Angel Patience and all the employees were freed fromt he wine-cellar. Most writers here would have opted to leave the chapter at the point of the employees' realization that they were locked in and left choking in the smoke so they would have a cliffhanger episode to lure the reader in next time. But you don't need that, Classy Lady! Readers come for the story-line and stay because of the engaging writing style. Add to that, Tommy's miracle-healing of his cancer and their deeply moving love story, and you don't need gimmickry.

Imagine being locked in a wine cellar that's been set on fire and then being rescued by an angel! I can imagine the stories they'll be telling for the rest of their lives. And I don't think Fee will get far before he's caught.

As I started to read this, and got more involved, I realized that there was too much of a coincidence (wait, I don't believe in coincidence) or something, and just as I have been doing since withdrawing from my anti depressant medication, I started crying and couldn't stop. It is like there is something supernatural between us, and this one was downright mind blowing. I will have to explain it better in an email, but what you wrote about Tommy's doctor appointment was the exact details to T, as how my appointment went when they said my cancer was gone in 2014, the year of our 40th wedding anniversary, our trip east and the last time I danced.

Anyways like I said, I am crying over everything but this was both too strange and too beautiful. I just cannot believe it. So I cried all afternoon. Joy for Tommy and Willa (yes I know it is a story, but I am very involved)

So I had to step away for a few hours and come back and read again now. I didn't want to miss a single thing of this remarkable story. This surely has to be the best and my favorite so far. I know, I know I tell you that every week, but it just keeps getting better, so I just have to keep saying it.

It takes such an evil mind to plan such evil as Fee does and is, but thankfully Patience was able to get the staff out of the wine cellar. I fear it coming to an end. I mean the story, not us.... duh deb!! And so saddened by this, but thankful for how ever many more chapters that you have left in you. And just like God does with doors, Sally will do with books. On that, I am depending!

Thank you for yet another amazing chapter, and as the suspense builds, I once again not sure if I can wait until next Monday. And just so you know, Mike will have to be happy with being your second greatest fan this time. I have this one covered. LOL!!

Besides I have only had my Sally since about the second week in August. Right after yours and Bridget's birthdays. Been one of the most Heavenly seven months of my life. And now, God has given us an even closer glimpse into each other's life, so I am feeling more blessed than ever. We must talk later.

Thanks to you for this most fascinating and wonderful chapter. I can't wait till next week and thank you again for the little piece that you have blessed me with in your story. There is just no end to your goodness, your talent and loving friendship and sisterhood.

Debi dear, thank you for this marvelous review and generous six star rating. I am so blessed and honored by your personal story and comments too. I had no idea this touched you so much and so deeply. Wow, we are truly connected in so many ways, aren?t we? I had no idea about the specifics of your cancer diagnosis. I did not mean to make you cry, sweet and tender friend. I am glad you pressed on to enjoy it all and the victorious end. Love and blessings always,

Excellent news for Tommy and Willa. Fee is possessed by evil but is overcome by God's angels rescuing Fee's victims. Interesting that his son is in love with Candace, but why did he not deliver the letters? Too dangerous to leave them where his father can find them. Well written.

Hi Sally,
Wow! What a great chapter!
I try to imagine the state of awe those servants must have been in, seeing an angel appear before them, and actually speaking to them... "You are safe, now," she said. "All of you, come with me. Touch my garments that we may leave this place behind." Perhaps they may have even thought they were already dead, and this angel was leading them to Heaven.
I was so glad to read that the tumor was gone. Tommy was healed. It does happen. I don't know why some are healed and others aren't. But Tommy and Willa have a special wedding present.
That was a bit of a surprise, finding out that Simon was in love with Candace. He wrote the love letters, but never delivered them. I wonder what Fee's next move will be. He wants revenge on both of them, but he also knows he should be smart and just escape for now.
Nicely penned!
Hugs,
Kimbob

There certainly is a lot of good news in this chapter, despite Fee's evil plans and actions with help from demons Nix and DeeCayed.

First, the worry Willa and Tommy would have had to endure over Tommy's brain tumor plus concussion has been relieved by his latest X-ray and medical report. Clearly, the Lord has good plans for His faithful.

When Fee found the unsent letters proving his son Simon had fallen in love with Candace, he realized they might be together with her baby; but he has no clue to where they might be, as Simon's car is still in the garage. He plans to burn his mansion and Simon's car, leaving Simon's lighter as false evidence against him. What did not occur to him is that both Candace and Simon are already in protective police custody.

Fee dupes all five of his servants to go to his wine cellar to inventory the stock in keeping with his promise (in the last chapter) to reward them with cases of the expensive wines stored there. Then he locks them in, sets fire to the door, and turns off the house's main power, leaving them with no escape. Chef Raoul tries to call out on his cell phone, but there is no cell reception.

The rainstorm Patience had requested began, reducing the fire damage as intended, but not enough to stop the cellar fire. Angel Patience sends eagle leader Faithful into the woods to capture cowardly demons Nix and DeeCayed, and all other eagles to douse the garage fire, while she rescues Fee's trapped servants. With her wings, she smothers each flame until none remain, then guides the rescued staff to safety. They will cherish that precious memory, whether or not anyone else ever believes them.

Fee is still at large, armed, and dangerous; but finding him is the task the Blind Girl crew will help complete in chapters to come.

Superb, and aptly illustrated.

You are most welcome, Sal. I have focused on details all my life, so it is natural to me to review the way I do. You are expert in adding interesting details in your writing, especially to increase realism in your stories; so I greatly enjoy reading them. That my reviews encourage you makes me happy.

This particular story is commendably unique in its detective genre; and, in today's difficult times, it is both refreshing and relief beyond a simple happy ending. Most active members here have faith, and reading a story acknowledging that through its characters is additionally satisfying throughout. This story's spiritual aspect does not overemphasize a particular religion; instead it includes the views common to most of its expected readers of all backgrounds. Your skill shows in how well you walk that tightrope. Acknowledged master writers here are increasingly noticing your abilities.

Though your story is created as fiction, I was diagnosed at the VA as having a blood problem. I went home asking God for healing and that evening while taking a shower, the Lord answered my prayer. My next appointment was so much like your story. They show me my old blood and then the new. The doctor said I have no idea what has happened, but whatever you are doing then keep it up.
I had to share that with you as your story took me there for the moment.

Wow, two miracles in one chapter. What could possibly be better? I enjoyed the dialogue, especially with the doctor and Tommy. It's interesting that Fee realizes that Simon and Candace are together; it's not by their own efforts, however. Great chapter. Blessings. Carol

Thank you for sharing this wonderful addition with us. I do like this story and I am happy that these innocent people were rescued.

I looked over at Willa and smiled, "We decided not to postpone our happiness. We're elated!" (comma after 'smiled' it's not a speech tag)
