Good satirical post. Iust say I can only imagine that the daily grind of a TV host would go somewhat along the lines suggested by your poem.

This was so unique and different. Upon reading it, I could imagine a show set and the makeup people darting off camera as the countdown is made. What other television and movie prompts are you going to use? This was very cool. Gretchen

Thank you. This was really a spur of the moment inspiration. I did not really take the time to think about it. The idea has become so popular that I really must give thought to other similar themes. I think it might be nice if someone else might do something in the same vein.

Very nice poem about the goings on of a newscaster, or other tv personality. I can't imagine being in front of a tv camera, making mistakes, or not being sad at some tragic breaking news.

They do seem to get replaced without much notice sometimes. I they insult the wrong person, cause the station to lose money or just don't please the station owner. This might not be far form true.
