Again! A very strong 12 word answer to a infinity question. I like how you strike out strong in your wording, you make it seem so easy yet I know it is not.Everyone has something different to add to this never ending explanation in words. A succinct but powerful poem which sums up the horrors of slavery. Only relatively recently have many aspects of slavery been researched. Modern slavery remains a major issue!

This is an interesting 12 word entry for the contest, as is the picture chosen to represent - Slavery throughout mankind's history. A subject that continues to bring anger and sits unresolved. Is this why it is titled - Trial?
Just a comment on this line - Outrage they gave. The word - paved - also works as it also rhymes with the final word.

Slavery is a concept I've always had great difficulty to comprehend. How come we, the white man, always saw ourselves being superior to everyone else? I loved your poem. I, of course, understand there are many other kind of slavery. Ulla:)))

Oh yes and that's what my poem is for the is in general not specific to any race or person the fact that we have this router history and I think every race has slaves. That's sad really but I thought throwing something out there. That would have an impact and said look man we're all equal. Thank you so much for your comments and for taking the time to read this.
