This is a good entry for the 12 word poem contest. I like the photo and the rhymed message when playing a game of cards. Poker players know all about the obscene change of direction a hand can take. Well done and best of luck in the competition.

Your poem speaks loudly and cleary to me. As one who had played five card stud and poker on a number of occasions I can imagine the outrage when you took the pot. Haha. Congratulations. A vivid, well composed poem.

I can only imagine what the scene would be like at a major casino's poker room if a player won a huge pot with a royal flush. I, personally, have never had one. Rod

A five card royal flush is a rare thing to see. And it pays very well, indeed. But did you know there once was (and still is in some foreign decks), a fourth face card called the Cavalier or Knight?
