I love daffodils, they are pretty. They certainly brighten our dull and boring winters.
Winters can freeze lives. Your poem reminds me life is tough but we must take the challenge like daffodils snapping a pose.

I like the play on "freeze" as in keeping still in order to pose for a photo and make a still-life image, with the daffodils smiling for the photo. Vlever at every level. Well done. A beautiful photo too, excellent choice. Best wishes for your entry.

This is a nice haiku that uses personification and metaphor well do describe and early Spring frost and the buddy daffodils when the sun returns.
