I wonder the same thing, why would humans want to destroy all the beauty around us. God created all this beauty and left us to take care of it. I am positive He's upset about how we care for it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem with us.

Very nice poem about nature...and the importance of taking the time to embrace and enjoy it. You'd think it would follow that once people truly appreciated the beauty that is all around us, we'd think twice about polluting and ravaging everything around us. Your AABB rhymes work so well, Willie. A joy to read.
