Goodness, you can tell that you lived down south where the crawling creatures are everywhere. It is a wonder how your life turned around. So glad that you met the man named Dusty. And to think that his mom was a writer.

Hello Brett,
now I'm remembering why I never moved to Tennessee. I love the scenery, but what good is it if you can't go out in it? I hate snakes. I don't like always having to be on the lookout for them. At least with moose and bear, you can spot them. It wouldn't have taken any persuasion for me to head to the creek and fish. I probably would have spent most of my days there. Thanks for sharing this bit about your past.
Have a blessed evening.

I was "out in it" almost all the time. Like everywhere, Alaska included, no doubt, there are things in nature one must keep an eye out for. Though never been to Alaska, it is on my bucket list. Appreciate the review.

I hated the farm and all the busy work growing up, but I'd sure like to be back out in the woods or sitting by a pond or a creek catching some catfish, brim, bass, or a few trout. Thanks for sharing.

Love farm living. Lots of chores but never seen a city that can compare to a farm's quality of life. Do appreciate the review.

Country life is great. Both of my kids were country raised. My son was all country. All he did was fish and hunt. He still loves it. My daughter loves country life also. She still lives out of town. You did a great job. I'm enjoying your story. Have a great afternoon/evening. Shirley

You were a lucky young man to have had a man such as destined to be your caretaker and your father. I love hearing your story, and I hope that when you get your autobiography all done and it will be a good seller for you. Patricia.

How interesting, Dusty must have had an intuitive mind, some folk live naturally like that, nothing seems to bother them, they have a natural sense of integrity, faith has a natural trust of the function of the universe, while others wear a mask, I'm the former kind. Beautifully written, Brett, blessings Roy
