Hi, JLR!
This is a truthful poem. A lost soul with lost movements through a life of insecurities and unsureness of faith. A blind faith. I enjoyed this read, which resonated with me because of its honesty. Best, JohnC

This is a good club entry. The text is a good size. The message is clearly stated and easy to understand. I like the reworded repeated refrain in the beginning. Best be on an unsure walk with God, than an unsure walk with man.
Drop the first line down one space to have a better spacing of text in your poem box. The visual fits okay. Good luck with your club entry.

We go through life going this way and that. Believing this and that. Having faith is definitely a blind walk. Thank you for your poem. Many blessings.

I never read a Baccresieza poem before.... I like it but it looks very complicated for me. Great entry for the potlatch challenge.
Excellent poem about blind faith.
The rhymes and meter are not forced and they flow well.
the Baccresieza structure makes sense, it draws on emotions and it presents strong images.

This poem is really emblematic of what faith is. Trust in something despite your sense of uncertainty. It's always hard to put that foot forward in a darkened room or an unknown landscape. But with the knowledge that God walks with us, we can go ahead with more confidence. And we can leave behind the fears. estory

I can tell you without hesitation or doubt. You are headed toward salvation. Unlike the other roads you may have traveled, this one will be cramped, narrow and difficult, but at the end of the road you will be richly rewarded and find that it was well worth the effort.

Amen brother! I wouldn't want to take any other route.

I enjoyed the sentiments in your poetry and the message conveyed. It is only my opinion that the uneven punctuation made it difficult for me to read the verse in a steady fashion. Perhaps "gin selfish" is a term I am unfamiliar with.
Your faith is clearly strong and you stand by your convictions. This is clear.

This is a very interesting style of poetry you have penned for the Potlatch Club. You used very good descriptive words and very nice imagery. Blessings, Teri

"Knowing I am going somewhere
that God has planned is built by faith
I made a choice to walk this way,"
So glad that when we choose to walk with the Lord, we know where it will end - forever in His presence.

I do not write poetry very often. I am not familiar with this style and it is very confusing to me.
With that being said, your words to follow our Lord are well written. Every path whichever way walked led unsure to where.
Thank you for posting this entry...
