A beautifully composed poems full of metaphors and life lessons. A rollicking read with a strong message. I was happy to read your explanatory notes, learning that the puzzle was part of a much greater story.

The problem with being, and likewise a blessing, is that we are partly responsible for their beliefs, and their doubts, I've always been anchored by my love for my wife and my children, my faith is important to them, as their welfare is important, I want to build hope in them, as God loves us, so too do we love them. Beautifully written my friend, you are an inspiration, blessings Roy

"The puzzle before us was challenging and vast" - pretty much sums up our lives.
And through faith one can "compile the pieces missing".
I think you did a good job of mixing life's metaphors into this story of a night of puzzle solving with your daughter. A lesson for life, as puzzles very often take days or weeks to finish - just as putting your life together can take time.
Good luck in the contest.

What a beautiful poem you have written about faith. I do a lot of jigsaw puzzles and know how it feels to have a piece missing. I love how you have used this experience to illustrate faith. I especially like the verse:
"If courageous and kind, you'll always find peace,
And with faith in your heart, worry and fear will cease
Have trust in the process even in your mistakes
For there's a bigger journey of each path we take

that is quite the poetic puzzle you just pieced together. before I forget, 10th stanza, check line spacing. I think the first line needs a space. Did you sit down and pen this at once or did you process and put it together in pieces (stanzas). This had a lot of thought put into it. Impressive.

I loved your poem. It is very well written. Nice rhyming and meter that flows through your poem. It is a touching and a beautiful poem about spending time with your daughter, and having faith that you would finish the puzzle. But not the puzzle itself, but just having faith. The artwork went perfect with your poem. Thank you for sharing.

You maintain the image very well and the analogy between the puzzle, life and faith. It is very frustrating to find you have pieces missing at the end. With life too things don't work out perfectly but faith is a strong aid!

This is a very interesting take on faith. I think you are saying that the pieces of the puzzle are all there and can be found. You just have to have the patience and resilience to keep looking. Good point and well written.

This is a good entry into the faith poetry contest . It rhymes, makes sense, is spiritual, and is a touching story of a time with your daughter. Good luck in the contest.

This has some really great rhymes!
This was my favorite stanza:
So we puzzled on, confident that we would bask
Patient but persistent we re-approached our task
We moved around the pieces to see what would fit
And trusted in our faith that we would finish it
Very nicely done. Thank you for sharing!
