This short senryu (not actual haiku) points out that the status of Ukraine is very much in need of peaceful resolution, but for now it appears, as in the last line, that it is a dream. I think there is much more going on there than meets the eye, as for some reason the Ukraine was on the list of countries the military bank I worked for was not supposed to do business with, in spite of it being favorable for the West. Secrets will have to be revealed eventually, but it is unconscionable that the general populace of Ukraine has to suffer.

I hope Ukraine and Russia war ends soon. It's so senseless, we must stand for democracy with Ukraine.

I don't think greed is the motivator this time, as Hitler's motive wasn't greed either, it was power I suggest, I think it's similar with Putin, mind you there won't be an end to narcissistic people in this, who think they have self divinity, as the greedy or ambitious, beautiful written Lea, blessings Roy

soldiers are too young to die.
So are civilians, many of them
children. I've been wanting to
travel about 8 hours to the
Gettysburg National Park.
I've got very arthritic knees
and don't walk as well as I
used to. If I get to go, I would
need to take one of the tour
mini-buses, or a car with
the tour guides. I'm getting
off-track here. My best wishes for the contest.

Russian Troops.
