I love the format of this poem Mike with two quite different styles that blend well. I love the daffodils they are bright and cheerful, especially after a long winter. Nicely done, cheers.

Stunning painting. A talented artist to highlight your poetic words. I particularly enjoyed the words, "...sentinels of hope...", these words speak volumes. A lovely, light and cheery poem.

Wow, I loved your haibun poem and the painting is lovely, too - reminds me of Van Gogh in a fashion. I loved the "glimmer of hope just beneath the soil" and "sentinels of hope will soon arise" and how the "blooms unlock with grace." Beautifully done - virtual six!

People everywhere are trying to dig out of the snow one guy said he spent three hours to get his out went into get warm came back out the snow plie had buried it again grrrrr.love you daffodils though.

I enjoyed your picture inspired story poem. Thankfully it looks like Spring has arrived in my part of Tennessee. There are those who haven't gotten there yet. Those golden daffodils shoot up quickly and let you know it arriving. Nicely written.

I think spring is on everyone's mind. Here on the coast of North Carolina we get teased throughout February. It was 70 to 75 degrees several days. Then it would drop to 40. Confusing for the trees and plants. I loved the imagery of your poetic endeavor. Made me yearn for the beauty of the upcoming season. Thank you for posting. Gretchen
