I love dandelions. It's sad how people think they are a weed, when we see them a sense of joy and hope. My favorite singer Grace VanderWaal sees them a freedom to fly away. She sings about the fluff & found out they are called florets

This haiban, Daffodils, has the proper formatting and finds that the winter is passing and the signs of spring are becoming known, though hiding just below the surface.

My mother's daffodils bloom every year in March even when there is snow on them. They are a beautiful symbol of renewal and the arrival of spring. I like your middle line, daffodils so appear to be very graceful.

Your friend's art plus your words paired erectly,
Mike. I enjoyed reading your poem. I liked the
descriptive intro and the 575. Your words created
great imagery. Here, we won't have much Spring.
We'll go right to 100+ temps in a few days after
Spring officially begins.
I liked the color scheme.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Your little post captures the feeling of all the gardeners of the world. Seeing that first sign of the bulbs coming up and the feeling of elation when they do. There is nothing like spring and the lift it gives to the soul. My daffodils are already in full bloom. The peaches are done already. We had a very warm February and now its getting cold again. estory

Yes, spring is on the way and blooms willing blossom soon to brighten all the gloom with flowering color. So many words to say so little, but you can sense the excitement. LOL. Thanks for sharing and God bless!

hey Papa. Get those daffodils rising will you please. for many in the upper midwest, the snow is growing a bit tiresome. Your Spring smiles of yellow blooms will be mighty welcome.

How we are waiting for spring here, too. I like your poem. Daffodils are beautiful flowers to enlightened one's day. When they pop through the ground, it is definitely the beginning of spring. We had another ten inches of that white stuff last night! Getting disgusted as the roads are bad.

Mike. I'm not overly familiar with poetry, but I was able to easily read your post.
Winter turning to spring is on everyone's mind in your words :
But there's a glimmer of hope just beneath the soil.
Absolutely.
Cheers to the joys of spring,
John

-Very nice painting and presentation, Mike.
-You did a good job with the poem.
-You paint a good word picture in both
parts of the poem.
-I like the part about the gardener
and how he "gently pulls a little mulch away."
-The poem makes a good conclusion with
all of the spring imagery.
-Nicely done.
