I love the message in your poem! The title is also apt. Your examples are well chosen, and they do help us understand the point you want to make, that is beauty is crafted from suffering. I also admire the way you turned the image of pain into something positive and affirming, e.g. a pearl is beauty crafted from suffering. We do all wish to be safe and the world is full of suffering. But our longing for safety must also be balanced with growth and not a retreat. Well done!
