Haha. You are getting better with poetry and I bet you enjoy it. I do, too. I'm not freezing because I'm in Spain. It was 70F today in Seville. But it's not the Bull Fight season.
Well done.

Absolutely, as we are here in Spain. I've lived here for a little over twenty years, and this is the longest and coldest winter during that time I live at the South Mediterranean and we are 15 F below normal. Are you in California?
I loved your poem. Ulla:)))

Not me! It was in the 60's where I live. Excellent rhyme, including some internal rhyme. Love the "weather deemed better." It's obvious March is playing favorites--punishing some, rewarding others. I'm not sure I'd recognize a lioness shrew. Fun poem. judi

Well a beginning Shrew should turn into a lamb. I could handle that. The problem is here in Tennessee some smart alec decided we should have three more winters after the beginning of Spring. We have a dogwood winter and a blackberry winter and an Easter winter, and some times they are worse than January which forgot to be that cold here.

Well, I don't know where you are, but I'm guessing it's either in the mountains out West, or in the North East. In Ohio it's 75 today and just broke the all time record hi. Keep warm!

I hear you loud and clear! I don't have to tell you why, because I just did! I will tell you that yesterday, there were 14 accidents on the highway in my neck of the woods between noon and 5pm. They closed the highway, my niece and her family were on the way home from RI, usually a 5 hour drive, and it took 8.
Crazy weather!
Susan :)

Thanks for the weather report from your way, Bill. It's snow-covered here, too, but nothing as deep and cold as where you are. Hope Spring is on time this year!
