I do love the humble attitude in your letter to God and all the questions - yes, these often plague our minds but you ask them in a pure and childlike way. We do have so many splintered denominations because each one thinks they are more right in their interpretations than others. But God just wants us to trust and believe and obey in love. Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest!

Thank you, Helen. I really appreciate your thoughts. I glad you caught the incorrect use of the word and I really want to thank for promote it as well. I never seem to have enough member pumps. I usually have to pay for them so my memeber dollars go down fast.

Well, this sounds like something that portrays my own thoughts as well. And it sure seems to me that we a living in times filled with hate and anger, and a world full of false prophets stirring the mix. My daddy would always tell me when I started asking complex questions, to keep it simple stupid. Thanks for sharing.

I especially like some of your possible answers such as, "Is the portion of you who lives within each of us, ours alone?" I like that idea. I also like, "I get the impression angels are everywhere." I've heard many ministerial explanations of the functions and presence of angels, with many interpretations. All God fearing, Bible believing Christians have their own ideas and I enjoyed reading your well thought out questions on the various subjects. Best wishes in the contest.

Your letter to God presents some very interesting questions, written by someone who is already familiar with basic Bible teachings. I especially like some of your possible answers such as, "Is the portion of you who lives within each of us, ours alone?" I like that idea. I also like, "I get the impression angels are everywhere." You make many good points and I agree God expects us to follow His book of instructions for the answers we voice to Him. The Spirit within us is a part of the trinity, and doesn't have a physical form but you gave me clarity in understanding perhaps, we never walk alone.

If people think you are a simpleton, then ignorant pride rules their world, and they have not thought very much about other dimensions of being. Because of our humanity only really understands endings, (which is the true illusion) and if God be real, there is neither beginning nor end. I think you quite correct in your assumptions, from where I sit, we are supposed to be in agreement with each other. I don't care anymore about people who think they know it all...they don't. Your inner child asks all the right questions, Beth. The problem is, those who claim to answer for God do not answer questions as directly as they're asked. Why? Well, I have to believe no human understands God and no human has the right to proclaim he or she does.
I believe I hear that very assertion in your inner child's voice. In her polite and respectful way, she's challenging the precepts we're taught to believe, even if we're not offered a whit of proof.
I would say this to your inner child, Beth: Believe what you're comfortable believing. But leave your mind open to other signs.
