I thank you, Tom, for the feedback and kind words! I think he had a fear of flying too, is that right? Another similarity- my dad is a terrible flyer. Go figure!

That is a beautiful piece that speaks to the wonderful fathers out there in the world. It made me think of my Dad and how he has always been there for me. My biggest fan, and it sounds like you are your father's biggest fan as well.

-Interesting variations on the walk through life: the gait, the stroll, the cat walk, the footsteps, the tightrope walk and the walk to our destinies.
-Beautiful integrative poem, balancing well the philosophical and the creative mind.

What a beautiful tribute to your father, or what a father hopefully is to most of us. Every word flowed like music. My father smelled like old spice and cigars, to this day those smells bring back memories.
