Great message Gypsy, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and looks are only skin deep.
A well thought out poem that was romantic and sentimental. We can see many things of beauty all around us that others miss or take for granted.

This is a gorgeous poem. I love how the flower is personified. I appreciate the quiet dignity and tender love shown here. I've always liked primroses. They don't look like much in the daytime, but I was so excited when I first saw them bloom when I was a child. I actually put that experience in a story I got published recently. That's not really related to your poem, except that I was very sad that the flower felt ignored, and very happy when Someone noticed her, because it tugged my nostalgic heartstrings a little. I found the poem very relatable, as a lover of primroses, and as somewhat of a wall flower myself.

I enjoyed this poem. I liked the imagery of God fiddling with the unassuming flower. Hi am not familiar with the plant itself but I do know that Evening Primrose is a wonderful homeopathic treatment for menopause. Beautifully written and sweet. Gretchen
