Aw, Jesse, you can do it, I'm sure you can. But sometimes one has to listen to the body, and once it's ready again that is the time to go forward. I admire your spirit. That's the way to go. I'm with you in my thoughts. Ulla:)))

Ah, Jesse. Well said, my friend. If only progress were a straight linear progression with no bumps in the road and not a single setback! It's human nature to test our mettle and push beyond our limitations. (I've been doing this myself, in PT, after my fall down the steps!)

You've got the perfect attitude. Your body "spoke back" to you and now you'll have a bit of a rest while you regain your full function. (Pain is a warning to stop and reconsider!)

I have ultimate faith in your determination. I always have. Writing this, is, I hope, an affirmation to yourself that you're in it to win it!

(Wish oh wish I had a six left!)

    Hello Karenina!
I love that phrase testing our mettle. I know we must push beyond our limitations, but does it have to hurt this bad?
Thanks for your faith in me! I will always give it my best try, and if that isn't enough I will try some more.
So happy to hear from you!
    Jesse

I don't know, Jesse. They say "No pain, no gain" but I think "they" should reconsider!

I would say, Jesse, you will be back in good form in
early summer. That is a great goal to work toward.
I understand at times you must get frustrated but as
you push yourself, be careful. Your post was informative.
Best wishes as you recuperate, Jan

Another fine write, Jesse....it sure can e a struggle royale, but I like your attitude. I have the stubborn nature that says bullshit to expectations. My ex was told I'd never come out of my coma, and even if I did I'd never think normally or walk. Well, doctors, here I am! And sounds like you've got the right attitude to do whatever you set your mind to, Jesse

Hello Mike! I didn't realize you survived a coma and saw it through to think well and walk well also. This is marvelous! With you, as my inspiration, I can do whatever I set my mind to!
Thanks for being in my corner!

You have the strength and determination to do this Jesse, I believe in you. One day you'll take that walk, without that walker and going forward all the way. Let us know how you are progressing. You'll do it!! Love and hugs, and prayers. :)) Sandra xx

Key words here: ambition and bravery. Also gumption and pried. I like that you had good times and no regrets, Jesse. I'm wondering how you ended up in a wheelchair. Did you play football at one time?

I'm so sorry you're having a hard go, dear Jesse. Thinking of you today and sending prayers. I know about this because I was in physical therapy for a whole year every day! I tell you what it was really a rough one. But I got through it and got the use of my arm back. And before I had none. It's hard to lose an arm or leg or anything important like that. I wish I could do something for my eyes, but that that's a no go because it's genetic. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you just to keep at it and I just want to leave you a nice review to encourage you to keep going.

Thank you again for sharing and have a wonderful day, Sal XOs

Unfortunately, when we start adding new activities that we haven't done in a long time, the body reminds us when we do too much with pain and soreness. But as you've learned, you just have to keep on trudging through the hard times until they get better. After resting the injuries of course. Keep making headway, Jesse!

Thanks, Ric! I will keep making headway as long as I don't overdo it again like before!
    Thanks for having my back!

I hope you know you remain in my prayers. I know you will have success and I add to my prayers that your muscle strain will end as soon as possible. Thank you for the update.
