My grandpa used to say things happen for a reason. It is not for us to question they why of the outcome.Miracle actually came about for others in dire need. If it wasn't for his passing they would never had received the gift of life from you and your son, Athena gift went on to save many and you should remember deep down in your gear it was the right thing to give to others the gift of life.A did you know a gift of life can save as many as seventy five people in one day. I say that is the greatest gift one can give another! God Bless!Life is fragile pass it on.

    75 Saved People.
My organs are registered in six hospitals.
Three in Philadelphia Green, Maryland including one at Hopkins.
Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is highly interested in my kidney.
I'm left-handed to the left one stays inside of me.
    Ask for the right?

According to C.Lucas a Western novelist give me that title over 10 years ago.
He relinquished the title and then I believe his life got relinquished.

Dear Ricky... I held my breath as I read this, afraid to exhale for fear I would be overcome...

How does a parent get through this? Although, as an RN, I've seen this unfold in such a tragic way, I still struggle with the incongruity of a child passing before a parent.

Your pain is palpable...the descriptions so clear I nearly had to look away!

I agree. There is life after death...

I am certain of this.

Furthemore, I know through organ donations of my mother when she passed one person gained site, two were taken off dialysis as they each received a kidney, and one horrifically burned young man was saved by grafting her skin over his charred body.

I join you in pleading for all to consider organ donation.
What greater legacy?

Write on, my friend.

Almost 80 been in complete renal failure now for a decade.
My right kidney will go to a stranger.
And my legacy will move forward along with my son's.

I, also, am a registered organ donor. I encourage everyone I know to consider this as the ultimate gift of life. As an RN I saw the miracles of receiving donated organs. The letters I received telling me not the names, but the ages and circumstances of those who were blessed to receive my mom's organs are to this day a comfort.
