Good morning! How often I stand before 8x10s and remember brighter, happier days.
Life has a way of pushing us forward...
But we never leave our cherished ones behind.

After my son died and then 8 months later on November 23rd, 2003 my wife committed suicide and left me a widower.
I would walk around hallway looking at my 8x10s beautiful pictures of my children.
Wondering where I went wrong?

I can see why you'd feel that, Ricky. You know, in your heart, you did nothing wrong, I hope. It will all become clear on the other side. YOU are meant to carry on and share your words!

cord with me. Loving the line "Winter ring brings?" Eloquent and delightful this poem is and a pleasure to read! Thank you for sharing!

On a side note what a completely unselfish and great thing to do donating your son's organs. I commend you a very gracious thing to do and it turns saves a life.

Power I get is a latter-day Saint Priest with the Church of Jesus Christ.
