This is a difficult prompt, especially incorporating someone else's poetry.
Here the ideas fit well and the poem ends on a positive note of hope which everyone needs!

How fascinating, although there seems to be a lot of poems with repetitive rhymes, and I'm wondering how many variations could be transposed as an algorithmic process on the computer, beautifully written Jim, I never realised how adventurous on could become. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

This is an interesting format. I do not recall seeing it before. I have seen and reviewed so many, I struggle to remember most that are not the more common ones.
The overall message I received from this intriguing piece is "silence is golden". If you really want to learn something of value, listen in silence, you will learn nothing while speaking. Knowledge is imparted to the one who is listening in silence. Very good post.

This is an admirable poem. It's a difficult form, and it's about difficult topics. It sums up current social problems and concerns well, and looks at how silence can be a problem if it's a denial kind of silence instead of a listening kind of silence.

This is very well written. What an interesting form! I have tried, without success, to locate the full poem by Justin Farley and would very much appreciate it if you could direct me to a link where I might find it.

Your Glosa takes each of the four lines and builds up and out from them~~a comment on society today that is as accurate as it is stunning.

Props due to Alexander Pope for his "Hope Springs Eternal" line...and you've woven that into your final stanza buoyed by the promise that hope will, if we cling to it, lead us to a better place.

I liked your poem. It flows well and is well written. I love the repetition of silence breeds seeds. To me this is a thought provoking line. I am happy that I have nothing but silence sometimes just to collect my thoughts for the day and meditate a bit. Good poem. Thank you for sharing.

Wow this is lovely really great work such imagery you've given mei7. A fine quote from a fine poet as well! Good choice. It looks like all of the rules of the contest have been followed with Gusto and your word choice is quite delightful. All in all very well done. I do see a bit of a formatting issue with regards to your layout believe when fortunately wine from the poet is should be the 1st line on your next stanza...although accomplished out looks like a 1st rather than the last. Thank you for your submission I thoroughly enjoyed this in which you the best of luck!

This is a new format for me. I love the format and I should try to see if I can come up with one myself. Yeah, might be a real challenge for me but I think I will give it a try. Have a blessed day Patricia.
