Not being in on card games, I'd never heard the expression "Mama needs a new pair of shoes." By the looks of things, Kenny might actually do well in the high-roller games. He'll settle for a win, apparently. You might explain some terms for those of us who aren't into these games. judi

I assumed, with two dice, he was playing craps for money. I don't know the rules for Yahtzee which I thought was played with five dice. Kenny seems to feel he won with a rolling a nine. Mama isn't likely to get new shoes, but this 50 word story may be a winner.

You are tough on me, Beth. I will defend the picture by noting the dice are still tumbling and will obviously be a pair that matches three of the same number and be five of the same.

I haven't played Yahtze but I've heard of it. Now I am wondering if shoes or any kind of gambling is involved in the game. I think the revelation of the game is the punchline.
