Sometimes words alone are more powerful, as the reader is forced to do the thinking, and deducing. I like your Haiku, and find it thought-provoking and interesting. Best wishes for the contest.

I like it. The silent ant army soldiers walking in line, I've seen many times. It's simple, but very visual, even without the picture. Good luck in the contest. It's a great entry.

Thank you, Roy, for taking the time to review my haiku. This piece almost felt like an experiment as most of the reviewers wanted to see a photo. Perhaps the haiku contests should be without a photo and then we may see more creative and insightful entries ;-)

I you dont need a picture. Concrete images easy to visualize. i can imagine the working ants moving along.
Good syllables count and connection between lines.

I like the imagery and metaphor/pun in this haiku. Yes. these ant are quiet to us, but probably not to themselves. There are likely leaders telling the other ants what to do.
