Not quite sure what to think about this. Is this suppose to be a chapter or a poem? The imagery and the emotion is there. I wouldn't worry about the rhyming as much as just express what needs to be said. There is potential here though.

I see this occasionally with my work where the person doesn't read it or even go into the editor to notes.
This is an example that artist It makes it did read it.
