Aw, this a wonderful story about your cat called Blossom. I had to laugh a few times. Cats are like that aren't they? Trying it out, knowing full well they don't need your help.
I've had cats most of my life. Chico reached the grand old age of 21, but your Blossom has beaten that. Good luck Ulla:)))

I love this story! We had feral cats and caught two, who turned into the most loving, adorable cats ever! Some people don't realise that a feral wants to be loved just as much as domestic cats. I really enjoyed her climbing achievements, and testing you out. I am also very jealous that you still have her at her grand age!! Thank you, and thanks for adding your input about feral. Most every cat will respond to good care and love. It might take a while for them to realize you mean them no harm but it is worth the wait.

What a lovely story. My first pet was a cat when I was quite little had cats ever since. Cats are sweet, entertaining and sometimes exasperating. My cat, Luna, is my constant companion. I loved reading your story. It was sweet and adorable. My husband and I have 3 dogs and love our pets. It was funny with the game that you talked about after you got the ladder out and she came down. Thank you. I have one dog too. She is thirteen, and I'm afraid her time with me is short. I will miss her terribly. Blossom is still healthy and as feisty as ever. I hope she will be here to comfort me when my dog departs this world.

Thank you, and thanks fot the six stars. Blossom was such a comfort in my trials, she seemed to know I needed support. There is another story I wrote called "The Tripod Cat" that you might enjoy. It is about Blackie, another rescue, who lost his leg to cancer. He is quite the character too.

This is a beautiful story about a very brave cat. I liked the detailed anecdotes that gave life to the sum up of your 22 years with this cat. There were some good phrases like, "underneath her rough exterior lies a heart of gold or maybe a lion." The title was catchy and fit the story. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you. The phrase you mentioned describes Blossom perfectly. She can be loving or take charge, whatever the situation calls for. Blossom is still healthy and lively despite her years.
