What a stunning portrait of Raquel Welch. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. More than that, I had a handyman here today, in his late sixties...

He seemed so morose! I finally asked him what was troubling him so.

"Did you hear Raquell Welch died?" ~ he said.

Oh my gosh.

I could see his adolescent dreams in his eyes!

Thanks for that sidelight story Karen. She certainly was a beautiful and sexy actor. To be honest, I wrote the poem first. Then I looked for a FanArt illustration to pair with it. I was lucky to find her image.

The illustration was a lucky find in FanArt. It was coincidental that her passing coincided with my post, which is typically three short lines.

Is this 4-6-5 in tribute to Raquel Walsh? A beautiful lady.

I enjoyed the premise of this piece. I did ponder on the use of the word - her - twice in such a small space. And the word - scent - as that would refer to smell - lipstick would be more visual.

The verse came first. It was coincidental that I found a FanArt illustration that coincided with her passing. Your suggestion is a good one, but she was sexy so I will repeat ?her? ?. LOL

IMHO Often the ?scent? of a woman lingers on one?s clothes.
