birds on a wire
look at the busy park --
people watching
We cannot help but notice that the birds notice us, and perhaps understand better than we do.

Gypsy,
Really like the overall presentation for this Haiku.
Of course, the reader can project if the birds are watching the people sitting (or strolling) or vice versa LOL

This is exactly what birds do, they are constantly watching us. Looking out for food being dropped and monitoring our behaviour constantly, I enjoyed your ambient write, love Dolly x

Your well chosen words actively engage the readers imagination. For years I lived in a house that backed up to a wooded area. Hundreds of birds periodically perched on tree branches and quietly observed, like the birds spoken of in your poetry, and pictured. I love poetry and prose that makes me imagine.

Gypsy,
A very nice Haiku.
I wonder what birds think of when they see us congregation down below. I bet they think we make overbearing chirping noises.
Thank you for this great poem. It made me think.
Blessings, Gypsy.

People are watching the birds and the birds are watching people. I have heard this line about birds on a wire in reference to the media. The media is like birds are on wire writing the same story with the same message. Once again you did a wonderful job.

The picture or rather the dual picture was rather creative with the feather after the poem, Gypsy. I enjoyed the birds on a wire as well. Your words were also creative because they showed that the birds were 'people watching'. Great job. Blessed be n hugs!!!

Yes, I am sure they do watch us from up there as we watch them from street level. A lovely observation haiku Gypsy and beautifully presented.

Birds of a feather, do flock together. The image reminded me of this quote. Lots of people do watch birds fly to and fro. Your poem is speaking about nature.
