I know what you mean. The first autumn after my cataract surgeries, I went around exclaiming how jewel-like the leaves were. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Then my son pointed out why they looked to much better. Enjoy your eyesight.

Thank you so much. A beautiful sight I saw shortly after was a bird floating on the wind currents. The first time I had seen that in several months.

Thank you. I am slowly trying to get back to writing. I have realized that for about a year before, when I began to have minor issues, I started writing less. Then, as time went on, I barely even had thoughts of writing.

I hope to regain that desire this year.

I remember after I got my glasses, I marveled that I could see each individual blade of grass. Your eyesight was more impaired than mine, though. I am glad you are able to see again! Your poem about the beautiful sights you now enjoy was lovely. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

I can very well identifying with your story. I had cataracts removed from both of my eyes, and I had very good vision afterwards. However, I had a back problem had to be put in rehab for the back problem, and they gave me a medication that caused major bleed in my eyes. I have had to have shots in my eyes to control the bleeding and now I have got, as well as macular degeneration. My vision is getting weaker every day, and I sure do miss being able to clearly see the world around me. Patricia.

I truly wish you the best possible. I did not/could drive on the highways and could not see at night.

I am going to do my best to unlock my brain and enjoy what is around me.

It is so bad when we lose our vision. Young people need to be more careful about what they do with their eyes. I have a friend who has of my problems because she purposely looked at an eclipse of the sun and it cost our problems for her.
