An interesting story. The flow is good. The images are clear. The narrative stays on point. The story meets the contest rules. The end shows the realities of life, people don't really change.

Thank you. Those two never changed. They hated one another until the day they died. It was sad in a way.

Thank you. I found it almost humorous at times. Mostly, I thought it sad that two adult men could carry such grudges forever.

That sounds like a miniature version of Yellowstone! Very well written, by the way, well done.
Is it any wonder that the world is always at war when neighbours can't get on? Here in the UK neighbours have killed one another because of arguments about ahedge or a tree. Beggars belief.

Thank you. I was afraid those two would someday wind up doing physical harm to one another. I think why it didn't was because Bob was a typical bully; make a lot of noise but run if confronted. I never saw Desi back down for anyone.
