Jealousy makes us want to hold on tight, but holding too tight makes the thing you want to hold struggle to get away. Your are so right about jealousy destroying what it wants most. Wise words.

Sometimes our jealousy can make us believe something that simply is not true. I. have known couples who have been torn apart by jealousy and it was all about an imaginary third person in the relationship, a poignant write for the contest, love Dolly x

So will infertility.

Your poem had good meter and flow and I appreciated the author's notes.

One small suggestion, perhaps an accompanying illustration to draw more attention to your words?
