Evocative poetry. Sometimes it is hard to understand why bad things happen to good people. Sometimes there is no explanation except from a higher power.

This line, in my humble opinion,

"God did you forget about me?" brings the entire poem together.

Another great piece of writing.

Indeed, "why me?" Has been a constant companion that's walked with me for many decades now, but the only answer I've got, is, "I don't call you for what you are, but what you can become." Beautifully written Ricky, blessings Roy
