The actions of Alice may not give any clue, but if one takes the time to find out who Alice really is, they may find why she does what she does. Before writing the book on a person we do not understand, we need to take the time to get to know that person.

Poor Alice... Such adventures she had! I've enjoyed reading Lewis Carrol's work many times over the years.
I've always been partial to this quote:
"It was much pleasanter at home," thought poor Alice, "when one wasn't always growing larger and smaller, and being ordered about by mice and rabbits. I almost wish I hadn't gone down the rabbit-hole-and yet-and yet-..."
Seems we've all gone downt he rabbit hole in today's society!

Poor Alice... Such adventures she had! I've enjoyed reading Lewis Carrol's work many times over the years.

I guess this is the next question people might ask, that if Alice hates being where she is, why doesn't she just leave? But then, after all, the book and/or the movie would end too quickly. I caught some 's' consonance with 'sense' and "Alice" so there is a little poetic technique either on purpose or naturally occuring.
