I'm sorry you've retired from active writing because I've never read a thing from you that did not move me, Terry. This "soundtrack" ode to Zoe fills my heart, even as I smile at the familiar songs that aligned with certain special times in my own life. "Tea for The Tillerman! Who was this man named Cat Stevens? How well I remember "Morning has Broken" ~ "Where Do the Children Play" and "Sad Lisa!
If metaphorically, God makes music by creating perfect duets of love, surely He did so with you and Zoe!
Thanks, Terry. You wow us with your devotion!

Your wife has come softly to you in this magnificent post. I loved it from beginning to end. Crying here! The song "In Dreams" by Roy Orbison is rolling in my head now. Wow, Terry. This takes the cake! This is your best writing ever and worth reconsidering your retirement.
I had a red, '73 Ford Pinto with mag wheels! WooHoo!!!
Sending you my musical best,

Your story was very moving. I can understand having a piece write itself.
I enjoyed hearing about the soundtrack to your life with Zoe. Thank you so much for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Thanks for the memories. Tea for the Tillerman, I think I have, and as for Willie, I despised C/W for a long time until I fell upon the Highwaymen and became converted immediately.
