So true, so true. I don't know if it is true with everyone, but I have always preferred reading to any other activity. Trixie Beldon or play outside? Trixie won every time. I lived her life. Sometimes I worried that I did not like my real life when I preferred to live a fictional one. That may be true. Or it may just be that books take me places that I love.

Yes, a good book transports us to faraway lands and places we may never be. I love the picture of a young girl being amazed by opening a book and looking inside. This is well done and I can surely relate as I am enjoying a book that fascinates me to no end!
