Oh how lovely and colorful are your moonbeams as they dance across my imagination. Your verse is lively with the reference to dancing fireflies. So well done,Gypsy!!

Yet another amazing competition. You certainly have a unique style and flair.
Fantastic photography to include as well. "Moonbeam pulls..." are particularly appealing when the words are placed together. Indicative of tidal flow perhaps?

Beautiful, fireflies and stars do have similar affects when they are in full view, as while looking up at the stars they do seem to be moving, very well written and prresented****kahpot

A beautiful presentation Gypsy. The moonbeam and the fireflies working together and far apart in the dance of love. I love the Atticus quote in your notes. Well done all round with much thought and creativity shown. Cheers

I never thought of a firefly as being amorous, but why not. It's one of God's creatures. I enjoyed the imagery of 'sea of brilliant stars. That's a great picture. Thank you for sharing this poem with us.

I often get lost reading your haikus and other shorties. This one has nice imagery but "pulls across the sea" ?? I don't get, and when are "amorous fireflies over the sea? I was a sailor for ten years and never say a firefly at night at sea. No ill intent intended. Tom

Is poetic, not factual. You either feel it or you don't. Haiku is a visual moment in time. Thank you.
