I relate to this poem, unfortunately. Nothing worse than living with a loved one that over the years you've become disconnected. Your short piece expresses this well. Have a wonderful day.

This has impact! Very stark words, no image to distract or soften the harsh reality. The grief of lost love and the ensuing silence is both devastating and painful, akin to emotional death. Best wishes for your entry.

Paranoia may be caused by isolation, previous traumatic experiences, anxiety, alcoholism and teen drug abuse. You fear to do anything that is out of the comfort zone. You need support to overcome this kind of disease.

Good poem. I enjoyed reading it. I suggest that you could add some kind of artwork to it. That would make it shine even better, and stand out. Just food for thought. You did a great job with this. Thank you for sharing.

This is a very well written seven word poem you have penned for the writing prompt. You used very good descriptive words. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

The author's words are intense! I found the words alarming, descriptive
and creative. I pondered on these words - thank you for the words of
above the title. This words are sad and painful. The poem flows and
connects well.

I think the silent treatment is a little unfair, it's terrible punishment, and shouldn't be applied, my sympathy lies with the recipient, beautifully written post my friend, great post, good luck, blessings Roy

I have been there, and you described it well in just seven words. It is painful, to say the least, but you made it beautiful in a way. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Wow, this is a strong line. It would also work for prose. Of course the reader knows silence is not enough to kill a person, but what a great way to use hyperbole and describe the issue behind two characters at the same time. I guess it would also be implied personification as if silence were a person as well.
