Hi Sally,

I'm sorry to be so late on reviewing your chapter. I actually read it the other night, but was too tired to review then. I've just gotten back on as we had grades due at work today, and I had gotten behind on grading.

Hopefully you'll have another chapter coming out soon. You've done an excellent job on this one.

Hugs,
Rhonda

Hi Sally,
Well, Tommy has lost his mind! ... just kidding! I sure didn't see that coming, though. He couldn't have done it without our own Debi Marquette!
Now, what about Brady and Benton? I guess we'll have to wait for the next chapter to see if they're dead or alive, and what was in that fridge. There's much more to this chapter besides a wedding proposal.

"Nah! It'll be fine," said Brady. "We're just going across town." ... Easy to tell who has the brains in that moving company, and it ain't Brady!

"My plan changed when I noticed a violation in front of me: a moving truck with no lights and an open rear door." ... oh my, they forgot to close the door??? Goodbye fridge! Now that I think about it... what's in that fridge, I wonder?

"Suddenly, the truck veered left and clipped a minivan, then jerked to the right and lost control. The last thing I saw was a refrigerator flying out the back." ... as you wrote, Sally, "It was an accident waiting to happen, as most accidents begin with negligence."

Nicely penned, Sally. I'm just wondering, who is the woman that hired these reckless movers? She gave them an extra $200 to take the fridge. That's what makes me think there's a dead body in there... perhaps. And it ended up in Tommy's car, like a wayward moose.

Hugs,
Kimbob

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and generous six star rating. It is most appreciated and always a blessing. I?m glad you liked my chapter and thought it six worthy. The woman that hired the movers is not a main character so you don?t need to worry about her. People do stupid and brainless things every day and cause wrecks and disasters of all kinds. Just know that.

Make sure you hire people with good ratings and word of mouth recommendations are the best. We wouldn?t want you or your family.

I had a near death experience in my Saab, and it was from someone blowing a red light. It was really by the grace of God I lived. I thought my number was up. The impact was so hard, the airbag knocked me unconscious. My Saab t-boned a Cadillac Escalade and we met and skid into a concrete wall. My right side touched the wall but did not breach it. I?m not even sure how it stopped. I was going 45 mph when she pulled right in front of me, Kim.

I had to be cut out of the car with the jaws of life.

Anyway, I?m real good at writing about car crashes. A real experience.

I hope you have a wonderful week and stay tuned for more.

    Sending you my very best,
    Sal XOs

Your onomatopoeia will invite the reader to viscerally experience the word & image enough to possibly say ouch, themselves: "He pinched his ear until he drew a response.
"Ooooouuuuccccchhh!!" Where's MacGyver when we need him? "That's a great idea, second only to duct tape, Brady!" The reader is presented with a new mystery: "She pulled
out the syringe of poison she was certain Detective Thompson had put in his coat." I
love the word & ised it in my book The Tor:
"Good," Candace said. "That thing gives me
the heebie-jeebies!"
A nice calm ending...but for how long?

Sally:

I have always been a fan of your detective novels. I am sorry I have come across this one in the midst of it. I won't promise I will go back to the beginning to catch up, but I will try to skim over the first chapters.
Always good to see you, my friend.

When I move remind me not to hire those movers, Sally. :) Let me ask you something. Did it have to take an accident and almost kicking the bucket for Tommy to ask Willa to marry him? Some people are slow when it comes to love. Thank you for sharing.

Tommy has been in love with Willa for several chapters. As in all my books, I like to weave a romance and love story in with the crime fiction. It provides relief and is real life afterall. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Good descriptions of the moving van losing its load on the 1-95.Not so good for Lieutenant Tommy and his passenger though. But, alls well in the end for the loved up couple. Great chapter Sally, well written. Cheers

This is a great chapter, although getting nearly crushed by a Sub-Zero refrigerator is rather amusing. Fortunately, he survives and a friendly nurse helps him dress for a momentous occasion, his proposal to Willa.

Wow, how many times in one morning can you overwhelm me with either tones of love in this story and some without love in your poem?? I am so happy that Willa and Tommy are getting married and I am hoping for a happily ever after here. Especially since I feel like a celebrity nurse, getting to share in the activities and being apart of your story. Thank you so much! I so appreciate it, more than you could ever know!! Ok, now back to the story, and what another incredible story it is! As much as I am thrilled that Tommy is ok, I don't think we heard how Chase Levins is doing? I a'm sure we will learn that next week. But I love that it is such an awesome story to read and once again am so happy that I get to read another chapter of this fabulous story again next week. I love it and hate to see it end, yet can't wait to find out how it ends. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me this role in the story and getting to be such a part of the loving couple's wedding. Thank you again my dear friend. So here is what I think of it!!

What a Buzz, Hoot, Rush and Thrill. With that, who needs a Happy Pill?!?! Thanks again!!

You really did something to my head today and in case you couldn't tell, I love it! Duh?? I just kinda lost my senses and words for everything else. I do want to say that the syringe back in the purse, is that a message from the dee that she should have listened and done her job she was told to do?? Or Patience??

Debi dear, or should I say, Nurse Marquette, thank you for the lovely review and generous stars! I am so very blessed. I?m delighted you enjoyed this chapter and thought it worthy of a six.

You fit into this chapter perfectly. Kind, sweet, caring and thoughtful. I have it on good authority you?re quite the proficient nurse too. Understand, I had to give Tommy the best. Willa and the gang are counting on you. ;))

Thank you again! I am still reeling from your kindness.

Sending you my very best and love and blessings always,

Interesting developments and Tommy and Willa are moving quickly! Nurse Debi Marquette quickly produces the perfect ring. She's such a capable and lovely person, she would choose well! Lol. A fun inclusion. Now you'll have all of us checking to see if we appear anywhere!
