The author's words are sweet, descriptive and creative. I liked how the author gave all the positives of children and flowers. And the differences in their lives - especially stating flowers are things and perish each year. The rhyming is excellent and adds to the beauty of these words. The artwork is precious and goes so well with these words. Great Poem, Debi!

Thanks Dolly, I was just doing some more editing when you saw this. Something got screwed up with my preview and it ended up huge. Have you ever had that happen to you where your poem and picture end up way down on the bottom of the page and so large that it is a mess. Well I lost my preview and editing, right now it is perfect and even added one thing that means most to me, and that is agains abortion. Thanks again Dolly

I enjoyed raising my girls, and still remember with great fondness, the gathering at the end of day, around the dinner table, the prayers and stories at the end of day, that warm feeling of the early evening, knowing they are safer and the frequent caravan trips we enjoyed, I miss them so much, but then there's the grandchildren, beautifully written verse Debi, blessings Roy

Hi Roy, I have a problem with finding the most edits needed after I post a poem. And this one I saw was the perfect opportunity to add something against the one thing I would march against if I could, and that is abortion. So I cleaned up my rhythm and added that to my ending.
