Ciao poet,
you did a great job to present both sides ... war is an ugly beast and the bomb killed many innocent lives as you pointed out.
I wrote "Hiroshima" ..you posted just minutes before me ..normally I would have just deleted mine seeing someone else posted the same topic...but I really put much effort into writing my version.
It's not as heartfelt as yours ..yours brings out strongly the emotional side which lacks in mine.
I wish you best of luck in the contest.

It think it must be decided if this is prose or poetry. It is listed as prose. Just saying, but the form resembles poetry. Also, consistency of punctuation. Some lines have them, most do not.
