Well, I'm getting into this in the middle of it .. and immediately, I'm drawn in! The characters are well described and easy to get to know. I like the 'suspense' set by the conversation with the principal and the final sentences. Excellent post. ann

I sense the urgency about her trip to the school! It wasn't an empty threat Missy made, and Waylon could well be in danger. Great writing. Very engrossing.

Just about the time she got some more ducks in a row at Waylon's school, she has to come home to this. Time to call the Sheriff and launch an investigation. Did any neighbor have their cameras rolling last night? Tense, Gretchen. Things are building to a head.
