Great chapter Sally with Candace telling her story, and her being rescued. The relief and emotions come through well. And I chuckled at the Lair of Beelzebub's smoking hot witha 100%chance of demon expulsion. Great job.
Cheers

For a preacher lady, you sure have the demons down good. I like the suspense that you built at the end. Seems like bad things are coming back to Aspen Grove.

Very interesting read. I looks hard and didn't see any errors.

Thank you for the great review and insightful comments, Doug. Yep, I've been pushing back the demons with the armor of the Lord since 1971. The battle is Lord's and He will overcome.

They demons in my story our outmatched by Patience. I will be fun to watch though.

Sending you my best today as always,
    Sal :))

This is a great chapter that I enjoyed reading. I liked that you used the quotation from Sherlock Holmes when you wrote this. It was appropriate for the chapter. This was an interesting and exciting chapter that I enjoyed reading. Thank you for sharing.

This is another great chapter which I really enjoyed. I especially like that it looks as if Candace and baby, Daniel, have escaped Fee and the Lair. I'm rooting for her. I look forward to the next chapter.

It has been like this since the beginning of time, Sally. The enemy at the threshold trying to destroy man with lies and lures. Good thing we have Tommy to fight the good fight with Patience by his side. Thank you for sharing.

The quotation from Sherlock Holmes is appropriate for this chapter because Candace's carefully compiled evidence turned over to Tommy along with the syringe of poison FEE had given her to silence Gaston is the turning point needed to go after the real culprits in the case of decades of unsolved murders and disappearances.

The fact that the taxi driver has vanished makes sense, as he had followed instructions from Patience to deliver her safely to Tommy and Willa, who would move her to a secure place.

Besides being a crime story, this is a love story; so it is a delight to see that aspect continue with Tommy's request for Willa to dress up for a date at Leonardo's, where he may have plans to propose to her, as he senses that she will accept.

Section Two shows an amusing conversation between Beelzebub and the two demons Patience had defeated and sent back to him. He threatens them with the consequences of another failure, then sends them to go after detective Tommy Thompson because Patience is interested in him. I'm inclined to believe that even those two demons won't be enough to prevail, and watching them fail again will be fun. In today's world, all good-hearted readers want to see Good triumph over Evil.

I am glad to see the increasing popularity of this story and its key characters has prompted you to tell one of your reviewers that this book may be the first of another series of books from you. I like that decision, as that will please a wider range of readers, some of whom will enjoy both.

Superb.

Thank you for the marvelous review and generous stars and compliments. I'm so honored and blessed. I thought you might like the romance interest. Detectives and police lay their lives on the line to serve and protect. They deserve love and happiness too. My pen will make sure they do. I'm so glad you enjoyed this chapter. I have some new followers too which has really been great. Sending you my best today as always,
    Sal :)))))

You are most welcome, Sal. Yes, it is important for readers to see that those who have chosen a career of protecting us from evil-doers or other dangers are citizens of our communities and our neighbors who deserve happiness in their own lives too. Showing that aspect of their lives makes them more real to us, and thus easier to like.

That the popularity of this story is growing is deserved because of its quality of writing as well as the uniqueness of its spiritual theme. I rate it highly because that quality is consistent in every chapter. Accordingly, I am glad to see each new chapter as it appears. :))))) -- Mike

I'm thinking the demons are bad creatures; they want to irritate whatever is happening in Aspen Grove. Good thing there is the angel named patience. This writing sounds like an unimaginable story.

And this just keeps getting more exciting all the time. I truly hope that they can get Candace to a place of safety before fee and decayed get there. And I hope something happens that finally gets Tommy and Willa together. As every chapter has me craving more. And every time I think about what I wish to happen it happens. Thank you for this wonderful story that just keeps delivering more and more excitement to my day. I love it and can't wait for more. I know that it's not possible but it sure would be wonderful to know that Phoebe was still alive. Yet I know they have a body and it's not feasible for that to be. This is truly a masterpiece, and should be a book. Please consider that Sally. Thank you once again for this wonderful read. Love you, Debi

Hey Sweet Sally, since I wait every week for this story, yes I believe I am your biggest fan for this story and of you. However yesterday there was no way to read it and review, today I used voice reading and writing for both. It sometimes is harder but today was necessary. My temp is just below 101 so it isn't quite as bad as yesterday when it hit 101.3. These flare ups are nasty and are completely avoidable. I just can't always do what it takes to avoid them. Loving the story just as much having it read to me, and it's author too. Keep up the good work my sunshine girl.

Hi Sally, I hope, Candace will be safe in all this. What is going on in hell is disturbing and unsettling. Now we'll have to see what is going to happen next. I love the story more and more. It's so well written. Ulla xxx
