I'm just going to say it. Miranda isn't written earlier as this stupid. Especially, now that she is dating someone else and likes it. This is clearly, not him, and someone pretending. Why not call the house is right? Why not speak on the phone? If he wanted to get her back. A man would come to the house, so he can hit them cheeks. Why come at midnight, behind a closed place, alone. (way too cliché)
That Miranda wouldn't immediately call him, and chew him out for leaving his son, makes no sense. That Waylon would be so chill, and also not chew his dad out or show some emotion also makes no sense.
I would rethink this one.

She may not go through with it. Especially since Waylon is going along. I believe she took Waylon so she would have a reasonable reason to abort the mission. But she is hell bent on nailing Missy as a murderer. Waylon has seen his dad at least twice since Dougie returned. But thank you for this feedback. I appreciate it. Gretchen
