Your chapter read well, Gretchen. I believe Miranda has a
plan or she'd not so readily agree to the meeting. However,
she desperately wants to find out more about Missy's husband's
death. So, that may have clouded her mind for just a bit. Of
course Waylon wants to be included in anything involving
learning more about his father. Dougie is trying to get to
Miranda through Waylon. He's seen/heard how their bond
has grown. Hopefully, Mitch will somehow find out and make
an appearance or at least watch from a distance.

Ah, Dougie says he's got something on Missy Toblerone, he says that she killed her missing husband, and to meet him alone, this could be be dangerous, but it looks like she's taking Waylon along for trouble, beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

I liked the way you laid out Miranda's "no choice but to meet him" thinking. And taking Waylon is a nice touch, too, bc she's too smart to go by herself...and asking Mitch so soon after their perfect date could jeopardize everything.
You're MASTERFULLY navigating everything in this book, Gretchen. I hope you are very proud of yourself, because that is no easy task.

I would say just ignore him but he would probably come to the trailer if she did. It is a good idea to take Waylon with her. I'm sure Dougie wouldn't want his son to see him in a bad light. I wonder what Missy is up to? I can hardly wait to find out. Good job. Nancy:)
