I've run out of 6s or it would have been one. I just loved it. This is my kind of poem and my kind of humor. Very funny and with beautiful rhyme and perfect meter. I really love poems that combine those 3 things. Just great!

Oh, I'm a big time stickler for meter. Rhyme is great and all but if the meter's all out of whack, I lose interest quickly. Lol. I really appreciate the fantastic review and the big six offer, Jim. Could I ask you for a big favor? If you like rhyming and meter as much as I do, could I prevail upon you to review a poem I have written called "Wile on the Green"? It currently has 25 reviews, and I need a 26th to move it to the next level for consideration. (See, I'm tempted to reach the top too!) I hate to beg for reviews, but I've never been this close before to 26. Competitive, cut-throat, win at any cost poetry writing or any type of writing isn't my thing. It takes to much energy, and is time better spent taking a nap. Good luck in the contest. Hahaha, oh yes, naps are far more precious. ALMIGHTY placements. LOL. That's great. I've been on this site many years now and rankings have never been a priority since day one. I was just dumbfounded that how little I've contributed from the new year, I was actually up on the top ten poet list. That's what inspired this ridiculous piece. I had this idea and I just ran with it. Ha. I'm glad you liked this silliness, Sandra. Thank you for the great review and good luck wishes. Have yourself a wonderful night.

That's what I was so surprised about. I don't post anywhere near two time a day to justify even being on this list. Rankings don't really hold that much value to me. When I saw I was up there, that's what gave me the idea for this silly piece, knowing some folks actually try to climb up the rankings. Lol Thank you for the great review and stares, Barbara.

I do not. I only post once a week. Right now, I am posting every 5 days because I want to finish an almost complete novel and start a new one. Once the new on is started I'll go back to once a week.

Hahaha. I was just in one of those moods yesterday. Rankings on here haven't mattered to me from day one. Lol. I just couldn't believe I was even on the top 10 poet list so far this year.
