The author's words are lovely. For me there is nothing like being around
children. I found the author's words to be sweet, kind, heartfelt and filled
with meaning. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome and compliments the words of this poem well.

We all have those special friends when we were young (I'm 68 so it gets fainter and feinted).

I do remember certain things we did snd where we were.

Thanks for writing. John

Congratulations on your 100 post milestone. The two little lovelies in the artwork are worthy of your sweet poem. I like that you presented it as an invitation accepted. Oh tha adults could keeo it so simple.

Congrats on your milestone of 100 posts. In my first year, (Jan '22) I am or was over 300 and am proceeding to 500 now. I like the thought and picture of the entry to a five-line poem.

Sweet, childhood poetry. It makes me reminiscent of my younger days. Well structured and composed. An enjoyable read. Best of luck in the contest. Thankyou.

This is so lovely and tender in image and word usage. I love the little gesture of young friendship offered. "Silvery" has 3 syllables which I think puts your line out by one. Perhaps you could write "silv'ry" or "silver" or use a different adjective like "sparkling" here? I love the alliteration that you used here and "silvery" was so lovely. Best wishes.
