Although our respective don't look as though they are in danger, I don't think the soldier who is ordered into a battle he didn't start, nor a theatre wished to be, we should always be mindful of their tasks and pray for them, beautifully written free free verse, blessings Roy ,

This is a terrific tribute to those who serve in our military forces. We do depend on them and often are oblivious to the dangers and sacrifices our military men and women face daily. Best wishes in the contest!!

Well stated. I have not served. I was born in that time of random sequence numbers and mine was in the 200`s. My brother and father served. One can never say enough to thank all servicemen. Unless you serve, one can`t appreciate the sacrifice.

That our brave men and women do not stay home but lay it on the line for each of us should be paramount in out minds and hearts.
